Cancel your plans, prepare your dancing shoes and inform your legs that sleep is no longer part of the programme: the Porto Salsa Weekend DJ lineup has arrived!
Behind every unforgettable dance is a great partner… and a DJ secretly controlling your emotions from behind the booth. This year, eight musical troublemakers will keep the dance floor alive:
DJ Mulato
Expect irresistible rhythms, serious flavour and absolutely no respect for your plan to “dance only one more song.” Spoiler alert: it is never just one more song.
DJ Mosquetero
One for all, and all for salsa! Armed with excellent music rather than a sword, Mosquetero is ready to defend the dance floor against silence, boredom and tired feet.
DJ Duke
Royal title, royal selections. Duke will rule the booth, command the rhythm and make the dancers bow although that may simply be the result of too many dips.
DJ Dmitri
Cool name, hot music. Dmitri knows exactly how to turn a relaxed social into a full-scale dance-floor emergency. Hydration is strongly recommended.
DJ Anael
Smooth, elegant and dangerously good at choosing the song you did not know you needed. Anael will have you saying, “Okay, this is definitely my last dance”… several times.
DJ Rumbero
With a name like Rumbero, staying seated is simply not an option. Expect sabor, energy and enough rhythm to make even the chairs start moving.
DJ Sabha
Sabha is bringing the kind of musical surprises that make dancers run back onto the floor halfway through their conversation. Apologies in advance to anyone whose story never gets finished.
DJ Sergi
Sergi completes our magnificent lineup with one mission: to keep Porto dancing. Your feet may complain, but your soul will be extremely happy.
Together, these eight DJs will deliver the soundtrack to a weekend packed with salsa, smiles, connection and questionable decisions involving the words: “Let’s stay until the final song.”
